Job Description

-Get the children off the bus

-Check folders and get them started on homework

-Prepare and serve a snack

-Encourage the children to complete their chores

-Might be asked to put something in the oven for dinner

-Might be asked to take the children to an afterschool activity

-Opportunity for extra hours if you’d like to come in early to help with laundry or organizing tasks

Benefits and Pay

$25-$30/hour, guaranteed hours.

The family will provide 6 PTO days that can be used for vacation or personal days

The family will provide 2 paid sick days

The following 6 Holidays will be paid if they land on the nannies scheduled work days:

Memorial Day

Independence Day

Labor Day

Thanksgiving

Christmas Day

New Year’s Day

Applicant Requirements

-Minimum of 4 years of professional nanny experience

-Up to date on CPR and First Aid certification

-3 Professional references

-Must be fully vaccinated against the Flu, Covid and Tdap

Schedule

Option One:

2:45pm-6:30pm, 3 days a week

Option Two:

2pm-6:30pm; assist with laundry and organizing for 45 minutes before the 6-year-old gets off the bus, 3 days a week

Mom is outgoing and adventurous, works a lot, and appreciates an organized and tidy space.

Dad is outgoing and sociable, and loves to help people.

Moms brother lives with the family. He suffered a stroke which caused some disability. He is friendly and helpful. He might be around sometimes but he’s still more than self-sufficient.

 

Parenting Style

While the family describes themselves as naturally boisterous and didn’t grow up with gentle parenting, they strive for a gentle parenting style. They would like the nanny to set boundaries and enforce natural consequences while also validating their feelings and holding space for big emotions.

Pets

The family has a 12-year old dog and an older cat.
